So we shot a comparison video a little over a week ago but for some reason still having a little technical difficulty with our youtube account. Either way...with the Varsity Red 6's releasing at select accounts midnight tomorrow and the remaining on Sat the 23rd. Check out our OG (Deadstock) pair from 2000 compared to the 2010 version.
Little differences like the insole being black on the 2000 and the 2010 being red. The most obvious being the infared on the 2000 pair compared to the varsity red on the 2010 joints as well. We hope you like the pictures and we will def try to get that video uploaded for all of you! Retail on them are going to be $150.
Got these at fl today. These arent bad but compared to the 00's..I dunno. Will prob buy a pair though. They look pretty ok on the foot.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah....for a retro these aren't bad at all. They used the durabuck material on them instead of the nubuck material like the 2000's. Like you said though....still really good looking on the foot
ReplyDelete6-10 are my favorite j's and these don't dissapoint. i like the nubuck better but i won't complain.
ReplyDeleteone thing i notice though is that the yellowing of the soles isn't really that bad, they actually add these nice aged element to the sneaker. keeping them crispy with a slightly yellowed sole works just fine for me.
