Melo M7 Future Sole and Melo M7 Advance

Today Nike.com released the "Future Sole" M7 in the bright orange (Reppin Syracuse) online and the additional 3 colors in the M7 Advance in select stores. Taking a look at both the home and away Knicks colors and the red/blue "Puerto Rico" Future Sole combination put together make for some great color releases. Each one of the sneakers are priced at $130 a piece and select size runs were made in each. Good luck to those of you looking to grab a pair!

Jordan Brand All Star 2011 Footwear

Counting down the weeks until the NBA All Star Game weekend jumps off! Below are just a few of the Jordan Brand All Star game colors in the CP3 IV, Mello 7, and of course the Jordan 2011 aka (D.Wade) that the players should be rocking that weekend. We like the fact that the brand decided to keep the color scheme clean and not get all over the place this year. All really good looking shoes that will hit stores soon.

Air Jordan Melo M7 – Blackout

The Melo has started to hit stores over these last couple weeks. As they start to bring out additional colors in this years model it is really starting to grow on us here @SSD. The "Blackout" edition reminds us of this stealth like materials used like something out of a S.W.A.T. type team. Expect these to hit locations in early Dec for around $130. Keep it locked once we have more of a solid release date for you all.

Jordan Melo M7 Cranberry -- Varsity Red Black

Another little twist for the Carmelo Anthony signature series. It has been known that he likes foamposite/foamposite materials on his kicks. Even though the material used is not actual foam, it is constructed of the same mold of the Jordan "Foamposite" 1 we showed you earlier this month. Carmelo kicks should hit shelves sometime next week for $130.

Future Sole M6 Launch Party (It could be you too!)

We reported on this story earlier last month and we just think it's amazing! If you stay in or live near Reading, PA then you are in for a celebration. For the rest of us we can read along at the information Jordan Brand put out and wait for pictures to pop up at a later date. Once they do, you know we got you! Stay tuned.

Since releasing imagery of the winning entry for the 2009 Future Sole Design Competition back in March, the sneaker community has been waiting for details surrounding the potential launch of Austin Jermacan’s winning design. Austin’s design of the Melo M6 was selected as the winning submission amongst the thousands of entries in the 2009 Future Sole Design Competition and we are pleased to announce that due to popular demand, we will be launching the Future Sole M6 on today at Villa in Austin’s home town of Reading, PA.

For those interested in attending, the festivities will begin at 3:30 on Thursday and will kick off with a sneaker design workshop being held for the Boys and Girls club that will be led by Jordan footwear designers. Attendees will get the chance to meet Austin as well as lead designers from our team, and have an opportunity to win an autographed jersey from Carmelo Anthony as well as a pair of the Jordan Future Sole M6. Austin’s winning design of the Melo M6 will then go on sale at 5:00. Villa is located at 547 Penn Street in Reading, PA. For those not able to attend, limited quantities of Austin’s Future Sole M6 be made available at retailers nationwide on Saturday the 29th.

If you are interested in becoming the next Jordan footwear designer by participating in the Future Sole Design Competition, then head over to www.futuresole.com to sign up. Registration for the 2010 Future Sole Design Competition is open through July 7th. via Jumpman23

Now that is love having your creation on an NBA players foot! Remember you can do it too! *Cue N.E.R.D.

Melo 6 now available!!

If you have been following us for a while then you should remember the Mello 6 that we previewed back in June....if not it can be found {HERE} So this does not catch my eye like some of previous models but comfort/durability on the court will be the final judge. I think that some headz judge the shoes too quickly sometime due to the fact that everyone is not a hooper. I can understand that completely, someone do a quick try on at their local finishline and let us know how the work out! LOL. Give is 45 days they will be on clearance. HAHAHA. Thoughts?

Carmelo Anthony - Louis Vuitton x Kanye West - Jaspers

Only a matter of time before we started to see celebrities rocking Louis Vuitton x Kanye West - Jaspers. Still would not rock them even if I had the $$$$. Some folks can get down like that but just give me my air maxs, J's and we can get it in! LOL. Why is La La looking even more made up to me now? Ah well.

Jordan Melo M6 (Winter 09)

Can someone at Jordan Brand please find Melo a identity with his signature shoe???? I don't think he has made a decent looking one since his second shoe JB release years ago. I mean while this shoe stays pretty simple in color which I don't mind...it also doesn't look like anything! HAHAHA. You all should know by now that Jordan Brand sits down with their players and they almost have 100% say of what the design process looks like.

To me it looks like LaLa (Carmelo wife) has Carmelo by the you know what and the results are coming out with a wack design scheme. LOL. This looks like something somebody 55 year old daddy would rock. I know Jordan Brand is about performance and this shoe was geared for better ankle support but come on now.....they will be released in fall/winter of this year and be on the clearance rack by Jan 2010! Put your money on it! Thanks Jordan Brand....*You lose. Let me know what you all think...

Carmelo Anthony P.E. Jordan 2009

These player exclusive are FIRE!!! Jordan brand put a little twist on the color mix for this mock up of the 2009. I am really diggin the blue sole and the black patent feel on these. The only thing that looks a little funny from the pictures is the mid panel looks kinda off black. I know it's different material so the whole jet black feel is going to look different but it still looks kinda funny to me. Don't hold your breath if you think we will see these on shelves! P.E. to the tenth power on this pair! LOL.....Enjoy

Air Jordan 2009 Mello P.E. Edition

Oh so crispy Jordan 2009 inspired by the Denver Nuggets home colors. Just a clean looking shoe in my opinion with the white leather and university blue blown glass effect on the midsole. Even went as far to add Mello #15 on the tongue instead of the 23 we are use to seeing. Shot out to the homie tprel @NT for hooking up the pics. Oh yeah....don't look for these to hit the public at all! LOL

Melo is stacking em up!!!

I thought that this picture was really dope. He is not even showing the tip of the iceberg of his personal collection. Lot's of Melo exclusives....can you spot anything else???
