Nike Air Yeezy 2 @ Coachella!

So let the Yeezy hype train continue!!! So as most people here in the D stayed up late watching a grainy youtube stream of Kanye performing @ Coachella it seems he made yet another debut of this year hyped up release...The Yeezy 2. We first gave you screen shots just like every other blog and website out these on the internetz during Nike small short story of the The Black Mamba. Apparently the people that we actually in the crowd were a good distance away hence the somewhat blurred pics. We here at SSD are sure that more pics will surface in the next hours or so and Yeezy 2 will be the talk of the town in the am. We still are reserving judgement for the actual public release photos....these shots at least give us some clue as to what to look for in the near future...maybe!

Kobe Bryant x Nike Basketball – ‘The Black Mamba’ World Premiere

This whole campaign around the Kobe 6 is really cool in our opinion. Take a look at the premier video that was shown last night in LA around "The Black Mamba" mini movie. Oh yeah... rumors of course are floating around that Kanye West is rocking the Yeezy 2 in here....looks like the Black/Pink Yeezy to us...you be the judge.

Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher Art

So artist Krupky totally went nutty on this one and completely took the years most sought out shoe and turned it into true artwork. This is the Kanye West Air Yeezy stripped down and transformed into a airplane model for the Doernbecher freestyle collection. Take a look at the detail like the uppers serve as wings, soles as the cabin and the laceholders even look like jet afterburners. Really cool part is the stand itself lights up just like the glow in the dark sole on the shoe. All proceeds from whoever is the highest bidder will go to the Doernbecher children's hospital. Comments???

Kanye West says Jordan Brand x Yeezy is FALSE

Thanks for the jack move media takeout!! Couple days ago we reported on Kanye West supposedly sitting down with Jordan Brand for a possible collaboration....Totally FALSE! Kanye announced this on his own blog yesterday.

"I LOVE NIKE AND I LOVED CREATING WITH THEM BUT THERE HASN'T BEEN A CONVO WITH BRAND JORDAN.... NIKE AND BRAND JORDAN ARE 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES."

So now do you see why I put the label under "Word is..." LOL

So according to media take out there is talks about Kanye West teaming up with Jordan Brand to develop a limited edition of a Kanye x Jordan collaboration. Nothing has been confirmed so it's more or less rumors at this point so we will see what stirs up. Word is that there is already talks and both parties are excited to work with one another. After all, his very own Nike Air Yeezy sold out within hours and celebrities left and right are popping up with his LV kicks as well. To me it was only a matter of time..now we can only hope that they are dope if it actually goes down. Let the hype begin.....AGAIN! LOL.

The net/net color that we previewed last week and rumor has it even the blk/pink pair as well. Certain orders got canceled for those people that tried to order multiple pair. Shot out to those lucky few that were able to grab a pair! Some say that Nike decided to do something unannounced due to yesterday being Mr. West B-Day!
