So if you all have not peeped and noticed that one of my favorite teams out the East right now is 0-2! (Cleveland will get it together) Opening night Lebron was rocking this very same color in the black/black version. Expect to see these hit stores on Dec 17th.

It's like I keep trying to tell ya'll....don't get mad. The retro 1 is going to be going strong yet again in 2010 so continue to prepare yourself. These will hit around early Spring of 2010. The olive green suede, perforated mid panel, white mid-sole, and a gum bottom outsole.....what!!! These are going to be fly. The thing I always ask myself when I see a retro 1 is what more can they do with this shoe that they have not already...then I think about the Air Force 1 and everything Nike continues to do with it and say "Oh yeah!" More pics to follow.
As we continue with the Jordan 60+ pack we see them bring back the throw back Cleveland Cavs color. Expect these to start popping up at Jordan accounts within the next week or so. More pictures to come as we get closer to the release.

These release tomorrow on the 28th at very select spots in NYC. I have my eye on the burgundy joints! Maze...what's good on grabbing me a pair sir? Check out the video below and know your history.
Nike continues with showing Spike Lee some love for his contribution to the shoe game after all these years. This time we see the shoe come out in a black/grey/red low top version of the shoe. The Nike Air was removed from the tongue and a image of Spikes glassed have been put in it's place. These are now available at select accounts.
Another very dope collaboration with Amsterdam sneaker giants Patta. Og Air Max 1 platform with the washed lime green color on top of the white mesh make for a very instant vintage type looking shoe. These more than likely will be released as a quick strike sometime this holiday season. For now just take a look at the pictures below and stay tuned to SSD once we get more information on it's official release.
Nov approaching fast and still looking like we will see 2 retro 12's dropping in the same month. The big hype now is that Jordan Brand decided to bring back the good old retro cards inside of the box! We take a look at the newly designed card with the "97" which is the year Mike played against Utah ill with the flu and then dropped "38" pts that night to add insult to injury. If you also notice on the back of the card they incorporated all of the kicks from 1 to 23 while even managing to slide the Jordan 2009 in there at the end. Be on the look out for the flu games late next month.
This info come to us via hypebeast...NIke has now recently opened a small Sportswear store in Marais area of Paris. This once small little bookstore has been totally converted by French illustrator, Antoine Manuel. The store will consist of exclusive Nike products, and also features a NikeiD studio for those who wish to pop in a get that custom look going on. If any of our readers are from/near that area and happen to pop in please send additional pictures to us at SoleSurvivorDetroit@gmail.com.

Chocolate Spizike already in the books and the black color has arrived!! Pick em up at your local Nike/Jordan retailer!!
So if you have not found out by now the Jordan 12 Rising Sun did not release this past Sat like scheduled. Just like we mentioned early last week Jordan told current accounts not to sell them. The official release date is now scheduled for 11/21/09. Not sure yet on what Jordan Brand is going to about the controversy in-sole that caused to hold up, but if you have a pair with these in em I would suggest you hold on to em. As you already know there is going to be super hype for those of you who were able to grab em early. Stay tuned.
Nike continues to incorporate their latest technology and use it on classic shoes. Early this year you saw the OG white/red and white/blue colors release in the Air Maxim. Along side of the Nike flywire technology there is also a material on these called "torch." The torch material sits on the toe box area on the shoe and runs along the top near the ankle. This material is used to make the shoe even lighter than what it normally is. Look for these in Spring of 2010.

The Jordan 60+ is really starting to grow on us over here at SSD. Normally we are not into the whole Fusion theme at all but the 60+ colors are getting better and better. These are inspired by the NBA Boston Celtics team colors and they went all out by adding the patent leather with in conjunction with white leather upper. Cracked wht/black pattern on the mid sole and flame give it a nice tone alongside of the hint of green accents in the 23 and the outsole. Be on the lookout early Nov for these.
Now what was suppose to be a 2010 release on the silver 1/2 cents will be bumped up to a Nov release. The Nike 1/2 Cent in Silver is available now at 21 Mercer in NYC and should start hitting select Nike retailers within a couple weeks.
Nike releasing yet another classic in a color that could not have been more right in time for the season. Featured below is the Air Safari with full grain black leather in the upper, orange contrast stitching, black safari print, grey midsole, and orange outsole. If you notice they kept the colors real simple yet and eye catcher with the positing of where they placed it. Expect a US release on these at select accounts within the next 30 days. We will keep you posted!

Drake spotted online with his very own pair of the P.E. Air Jordan Retro 8 "Sugar Ray" editions. These came out sometime last year only made available at the House of Hoops in NYC. This particular color was extremely hard to get back then being rumored to only have been 24 pairs made up in this exclusive. No telling how old the picture is...just the new buzz going on in the sneaker community at the moment.
This is yet another one of those talked about Nike SB's since we reported on them early this summer. Originally scheduled to release this winter but pushed back to sometime in 2010, this low top SB still has heads "chirping" literally. LOL. All solid black denim upper with white midsole and red bottom. Again...these are just sample pictures so the final product could change by the time they drop next year. Check out the quick youtube video below..the samples chirp when you press on the tongue. Don't know if they will end up keeping that or not but will be a cool looking shoe either way!
Don't know why but we are liking what Converse will be doing with the Chuck Taylor this winter. Taking the classic shoe but transforming it into a mid top "skate" shoe. We are very curious to what comfort levels will look like on these once they drop. We will keep you posted.
Let me just keep reminding all my skateboard heads out there that Nov is going to be a very good month for Nike SB!!! Even if you are not a skater you have to respect the NIke Zoom Bruin with the sport red suede and white swoosh. Clean white midsole even give this shoe more definition but on a clean and simple platform. Thought on these???
