Nike Flightposite (Silver)

So another one of my personal favorites when we talk about hooping shoes. Nike just started to bring these back out earlier this summer with it's blk/gold color that started it all. The ever so popular egg plant color along with a couple House of Hoops releases really brought tons of attention to this shoe. The face that I love the lacing system along with the added zipper for extra support the flightposite is a great shoe for any guard or forward position.

The last 2 pictures below are 1 of the 2 pair I have of the OG's from back in 2000 when they dropped. Again, seeing as how I go hard when I'm on the court...LOL.. the silver actually started to wear off fairly quickly after a game or two. I play on my toes a ton so you can see where it once was silver it now is yellow. I remember buying my second pair of these back then because I also wanted to rock them for everday use (Well not everyday) off the courts.

Yes kids, STOP wearing you hoops shoes outside on the pavement!! Kills you whole Sole game and longevity of the shoe. Keep a set of hooping shoe for indoors and a set for outdoors....of course if you have the means to do so. But come on, grab a pair of payless Shaq boys for outdoors and keep you Nike game preserved! HAHA. Enjoy

Converse x Undefeated - Poorman’s Weapon

So I personally have not rocked converse in about 10 or 11 years, but I might have to step my weapon game up! These are scheduled to be released very soon. They used vintage military bomber theme, nylon upper and velcro logos on the tongue. They are only going be released at undefeated in January.

Fila Ninety6 Grant Hills

So for the younger heads out there these are the Grant Hills that dropped back in the day! While other katz were rocking these you know that the Jumpman went in another direction grabbing up his jordan 11's back in the day. Come on now, Grant patent over Jordan patent 11's??? Anyway I won't go down that road today..LOL

So the og White/Black Patent color dropped a couple weeks ago and Jeff Staple over at Reed Space got to play around and put some other colors together with the release. Again, giving the man Jeff over there mad props in all of his collaborations with various sneaker brands. The Og White/Black were made limited quantities and the Wht/Blue/Orange and Blk/Pink/Aqua/Yellow colors can only be copped exclusively at Reed Space in NY.

I didn't think they were cool back then just because they were too dog on heavy and I am a nut for comfort. I put a picture of none other than Pac up towards the end rocking his pair!

Nike SB Mint Chocolate Chip (Sample)

Might not ever see the light of day! These were early sample from a year ago that never dropped. Makes me want to grab a double scoop of mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone and lace up a size 11 and go! These might have done pretty good if they came out. More than I can say for some of the recent colors we have seen on the SB tip!!

Supra Cruizer Low Grapes!!

So again ya'll...it's not that I just favor Jordan and Nike all the time. I love a mixture of brands, styles, and even collaborations when it comes down to it. The fact remains is that the sneaker industry is inspired/jocking/emulates/ etc, or whatever you want to call it to both Nike and Jordan. For example, let's take a look at this Supra low. In my opinion looks pretty promising from the picture and is def inspired from the Air Jordan 5 "Grape" colorway.

So Jordan or maybe even Nike may not have been the first company to throw Aqua/Purple on a sneaker but you can't tell me that the first thing that comes out your mouth is that "Oh, these remind me of those one J's!" My point exactly!!! Once again proving my point that some way some how everything relates right on back to the Jumpman!! LOL. No set date on these yet but should be available just before spring!

Air Jordan Retro 1 Valentines Day (Kids)

So you already know that my daughter will definitely have a pair of these on here feet. Especially seeing as how the whole air force 1 and air max valentines day exclusives are starting to get played to me. Jordan Brand added just the right amount of pink and red to this retro to make it really stand out without too much overkill. Fellas get ready to cash the wifey out and have her laced in a pair of these.....that is unless your lady is walking around here like bigfoot! Then she is out of luck. LOL.

These will go for around $79.99 and they might only be available in kids size 3-7. More info as we get closer towards Feb!

Nike Air Force II "Gucci" Inspired

So as we get closer to 2009 it looks really promising when we talk about Nike and the heat rocks they will be dropping on us. Below is the Air Force II Gucci inspired color. All black on black leather with army green and red laces. Nike even made the side panel near the lacing match with the whole theme of the shoe. From the picture it also looks as if Nike has the tattoo in the toe box area. DOPE!! The will retail for about $100 once they drop. Stay tunned for additional pictures near the drop.

Nike Air Force 1 Supreme - ACG Huarache

So I guess I am on this hybrid post kick. Anyway these seem to be pretty interesting and can't wait to see these up close. Not a fan of white on white let alone air 1's but I figured the rest of the headz are going to cop! I have to admit it is always nice to see supreme leather on any shoe and the ice bottom on these are killing it! These are do out again in Sprint of 09, so heads be patient.

Cool Grey Spizike!!

So before you know it Dec 31st will be here and these bad boy will have been released. For sneakerheadz that follow the Jordan game saw this shoe on Michael Jordans foot this time last year. I really love the color on these and the detail that went behind the shoe. For those of you reading the blog for the first time this is a Spike Lee x Jordan collabaration that has been around for sometime. This color released over in Europe earlier this year and will finally hit the states in a few weeks. Be prepared to drop that cool $175 for these. Might even want to pick up a second pair just because the sole is sooooo icy on these.

Adidas x Jeremy Scott - Metro Attitude Hi

Adidas seems to be getting into some really interesting concepts lately with trying to bring the U.S. market sales up. From this pictures it seems like it will be a hypebeast release just off the strength that Mr. West is rocking them and we know how celebrities have influence. The wings are removable form the shoe and this gold color as well as the white will be available spring 09. (Side Bar) Peep the Burn Rubber Varsity jacket in the left corner!! What up Rick/Ro.

Again, I like the innovation but this is one of those 1 outfit type shoe that you would rock. Not your daily driver unless you are Yezzy or better yet...Zeus!! LoL.

Nike Foamposite Boot (Royal Blue)

So I told you guys that I really like the whole hybrid theme and these are really dope. I saw these over the summer and couldn't wait till they dropped. Nike is still putting a nice $225 price tag on em because they are foamposite material. So unless it is a employee appreciation hook up...the Jumpman won't be copping anytime soon. LOL. Talk about comfort though, these are were it's at. So I know that a lot of you might not like the super bright royal blue so Nike also dropped these in black about a month ago. A little heavier than I would like a boot to be but I understand the weight with the amount foamposite on these boys. Enjoy!!

Nike Air 1 - Elephant Print Pack

So of course I was going to show a preview for the 2009 Spring Elephant Print Pack line up. Come on ya'll....it is called SoleSurvivorDetroit! So for all my air one headz I am sure I will see you around the way next year with at least one of these joints on.

Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid

So for those of you that might not be up on your retro game this Air Tech Challenge is coming back next year as a hybrid release. Lately, I personally like what Nike is doing with their hybrid kicks...again....Nike...not Jordan Brand. LOL. Any how these are really dope in my opinion.

They are taking the best pieces from past Tech Challenge models and fusing them together in 1 shoe. The inspiration for this color came from the OG Tech Challenge IV that was released back in the day. I am personally waiting to see what other color they drop these in. But for no we will have to roll with these joints. No release date set as of yet... I will keep you posted.

Womens Nike Dunk Low- Chile/Red/Grey/White

Once again ladies are getting another "Fire" color in the dunk low. A nice grey suede material around the toe box and near the heal. Red leather to complete the rest of the shoe with a white mid sole and black bottom. The insole feature this winter wonderland pattern on the inside and additional white laces will come with these to help the "POP" affect. DOpE....

Jordan Retro 1 High GS (Grade School) Black/Vivid

Alright ya'll. So it looks as if I am posting the same thing twice once you see these pictures below. Fact of the matter is Jordan Brand continues to branch out for the ladies. Unlike the blk/royal colorway of this shoe I posted a while back, they are calling this the "blk/vivid" colorway for grade school sizes. Imagine that....funky little pattern at the top that no one will see unless you are rocking shorts. I guess they had to show the ladies a little Jordan 1 love as well.

These drop this week on the 6th at select locations. Suppose to be limited release and will retail for about $85 I believe. Size 3.5 to 7y is what they will be available in.
