Lebron Backs out of the NBA Dunk Contest

For those of you that can recall last year when Lebron James said he was going to enter in the dunk contest this year he had people going nutz. Now it's official that he has dropped out of the contest and the league will be forced to find a fourth person. It is funny to us why he would drop out weeks away especially when we thought the Zoom 7 "Dunk Man" would have been the shoe of choice for the event. We will see who they throw in the contest to take his place. Nate Robinson, Gerald Wallace, Shannon Brown, and rumored to be Eric Gordon or DeMar DeRozan to take that 4th spot. Keep it locked!

bron bron is soooooo weak for this. this is why he will never be greater than mj was. he's like the small forward version of shaq to me sometimes. don't get me wrong, dude is crazy talented and athletic but, he is just natural talent, with no creativity or personal flair to his game. mj had to work hard at honing his game and signature moves and had to be smarter and tougher mentally and physically than his opponent. bron is just more athletic than everyone who steps on the court. to lebron i say....gtfoh. and to think i was about to drop 160.00 on his kicks.

Ahhhh HAHAHA. d.knott, I love the comments. So, so true though. I agree with this being a weak move especially with weeks away from the game. I also agree with him being more athletic than some of the other player on the court as well. The thing that gets me is that if he wants to focus more on winning a championship, then don't open your mouth because you got hype last year and don't want to fully commit. It only sets people like us for huge upset.

P.S. And yet another reason for me to find those kicks on the lowz and not pay the $160! HAHA
