So I came across this guy by the name of Andy Uprock. He is a Sydney based artist whos work includes transforming streetscapes into large floating cup installations. His methods of art work is very similar to that of graffiti and titles his movement "Cuprocking." I think he represents a SoleSurvivor in his own hometown.
I like it because he took something so simple like freaking out cups and making it into a movement that he loves and believes in. Not something that you are use to seeing everyday. While some of dudes artwork is respected in Sydney he finds the canvas of cups being destroyed by their city counsel within days. I love the picture with him finishing up a piece while the cops roll by. Haters!! Big ups to you Andy Uprock and keep doing what you do man.
